Pure Love filled Jesus' mother Mary. She was infused with it. When she met Elizabeth, that Love radiated causing John to leap in Elizabeth's womb. What Joy these women exhibited. This joy was the product of 'faith-filled expectation'. I don't say 'hope-filled expectation' because hope presumes something may or may not happen. They were 'faith-filled' knowing God was full-filling his promises. They waited full of faith, full of God's grace and thereby truly blessed.
Like Mary and Elizabeth, we are waiting too. But are we waiting with 'hope-filled expectation' or 'faith-filled expectation'? One of those will lead to a fuller Joy-filled experience of the presence of God.
